The Domino's 'Gormet Range' is a new range for them with new toppings on a fresh thin crust base, hand-stretched using Domino’s fresh dough, then covered in sundried tomato and garlic sauce and 100% mozzarella cheese.
I think this is a great direction for Domino's. It's aimed at people looking for a lighter pizza with more distinctive flavours, which are similar to those you might find in a traditional pizzeria.
I had the 'Firenze' pizza, which Domino's says is a firey combination of Ventricina salami, pepperoni and Peruvian roquito peppers.
The base is excellent, looking and tasting like a traditional pizza base. The crust is slightly larger than you would expect ofan Italian pizza base but that's fine.
This pizza was quite hot but it was also sweet which I believe must have been the tomatoes. I prefer this pizza to Domino's normal pizza range.
In summary it's nice, spicy, sweet and very, very tasty. My verdict - it's delicious.
