Cooked for 6 minutes from chilled at 200 degrees C. The base of the Pizza Express Margherita pizza was very authentic with a Tomato base and Mozzerella cheese. I drizzled olive oil on before it cooked, because that was on the instructions, and added a sprinkling of black pepper once it was cooked (not on the instructions but who doesn't!).
It's not a huge pizza, 7 or 8 inches. Just enough for one though.
Like all Pizza Express store bought pizza's I have tried before the toppings of the Pizza Express Margherita pizza are excellent. However, the base is always a tiny bit, not soggy, just un-crisp. If you try and cook it so that the base is crisp the pizza goes dry on top.
The dough does taste nice but not with that authentic Italian oven cooked crispness. If it was it would have given it six allie pizza slices rather than the five I have done.
