I've had Sainsbury's Taste the Difference pizza's in the past and they have been generally good or excellent. I'm not a fan of hot pizza's so when I saw this new variety I thought I'd give it a try.
It's a big pizza so ideal for two or alternatively have half and save the rest for later (which I did, although allie ate it!). It took 10 minutes to cook at 220 degrees C. There were lots of topping and they were very good quality.
The base was thin and crispy just like you'd expect from an Italian pizza. The Yorkshire ham, Chestnut mushrooms and Mascarpone cheese worked really well together and make a great alternative to a Margherita pizza.
It's a very wintery pizza if that makes sense. The sought of pizza I'd have if I was skiing and stopped for lunch in a mountainside restaurant or in the evening perhaps in the village with a nice warm cosy fire. A very seasonal pizza which surprised me. Excellent, I'll definitely have it again.
